How to Help
As the Major Charitable Arm of Soccer in the United States, the U.S. Soccer Foundation has awarded more than $45 million in grants to soccer clubs, organizations and programs throughout the nation to enhance, assist and grow the sport of soccer. With your support, our goal is to increase the number of grants awarded and assist more groups with their player development, coaching education, facility development and referee training programs, especially in economically disadvantaged urban areas.
Our overhead costs are strictly controlled and covered by the Foundation’s endowment. Therefore, 100% of every dollar you contribute will be used to expand our philanthropic programs.
| David Charles Vanole Memorial Fund |
 |
In consultation with David and Kerry’s families, the Foundation has established the David Charles Vanole Memorial Fund to honor the life, career and years of distinguished service David dedicated to the sport of soccer. Proceeds from the Vanole Fund endowment will be distributed on an annual basis through a grant awarded by the Foundation to a soccer club and/or organization in an urban area to help create and sustain soccer opportunities for underserved children, with an emphasis on groups in the Southern California region, where David’s career started.
