Combined Federal Campaign (CFC) Contributions

Giving Through Your Workplace

Workplace giving is a means by which employees donate to charitable organizations of their choice, primarily through one-time or ongoing payroll deductions.  This easy and efficient way of donating supplies a steady source of support for the U.S. Soccer Foundation's continued efforts to create more opportunities for children in economically disadvantaged urban areas to have access to and regularly participate in the sport of soccer.

To find out if your company offers a workplace giving program, check with the human resources or corporate giving personnel at your office and ask to include the U.S. Soccer Foundation as your beneficiary of choice.

Federal employees

The U.S. Soccer Foundation is an annual participant in the Combined Federal Campaign which is coordinated each autumn by the Office of Personnel Management (OPM). The Foundation is listed in the CFC Times and Military Times and can also be found through the Sports Charities USA section in other CFC Charity Directories. The Foundation's CFC identification number is 11448. Please click here to make an online CFC pledge to support the Foundation!

The Fall CFC 2007 campaign begins September 1st so be sure to designate the U.S. Soccer Foundation (CFC# 11448) as one of your preferred charities for 2007!

We greatly appreciate your support for our efforts to make the sport of soccer more accessible to players, coaches, referees, fans and families across the United States. As noted elsewhere, because our overhead is covered by earnings on our endowment, 100% of your contribution will go directly to expand our programs.

The Foundation received the Independent Charities of America "Best in America" Seal of Excellence which is awarded to organizations that have, upon rigorous independent review, been able to certify, document and demonstrate that they meet the highest standards of public accountability, program effectiveness and cost effectiveness. Of the 1,000,000 charities operating in the United States today, it is estimated that fewer than 50,000, or 5 percent, meet or exceed these standards, and, of those, fewer than 2,000 have been awarded this Seal.
