William C. Scott

Director of Finance

Bio

Mr. Scott is a financial executive with experience in finance, accounting and operations that includes a number of years in senior financial management positions as a consultant, controller, chief administrative officer and chief financial officer.  In addition, he is a CPA and has experience in public accounting and internal auditing.

Mr. Scott's experience has included a range of financial services companies including providing consulting services to the industry.  His public accounting experience includes work with manufacturing clients.  He has served on the board of directors of a nonprofit organization - chairing the finance/planning committee and serving on the fundraising committee.  More recently, he served as the chief financial officer of the American Association of Blood Banks.

Mr. Scott received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics, magna cum laude from Washington and Jefferson College in Washington, Pennsylvania and was elected to Phi Beta Kappa.  Bill is a member of several professional societies and associations in the accounting and financial management fields.

Foundation Responsibilities

At the Foundation, Bill manages all accounting, financial, investment, budgetary and financial reporting aspects of the organization.  He maintains and reviews all financial accounts and relationships in addition to providing oversight for all human resources responsibilities.
