Courtney joined the Foundation after working for Disney's Wide World of Sports and Golf 20/20 -- a PGA TOUR initiative focused on nurturing the game of golf in the U.S. Courtney earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and a Certificate in Markets and Management at Duke University. During that time she served as an intern for Meredith Communications, a sports public relations firm in the Washington, D.C. area. Courtney was a starter on the nationally ranked Duke lacrosse team, was a member of numerous elite travel soccer teams in the D.C. area, and was voted captain of her high school soccer team at The Potomac School (McLean, Va.). |
