The Foundation's Planning Grants Initiative offers Grants of up to $8,000 in the form of credit with CHA Sports, the Foundation's Supplier for Soccer Facility Design and Planning Services. CHA Sports will produce a concept plan for your project, positioning your organization to solicit support from donors and decision-makers. Priority will be given to projects in urban, economically disadvantaged areas.
A properly developed concept plan:
- guides the design and construction of soccer field projects in a coherent and unified way
- establishes the proper sequencing and phasing for design and construction
- integrates a project into your overall budget
- builds momentum for future phases
- serves as a foundation for effective marketing, fundraising, and advocacy with decision-makers
Example of the final product, a concept plan from Clough Harbour Sports (pdf).
