Zola Short joined the Foundation in July 2010 as the Marketing & Commmunications Coordinator after working for Octagon, a sports management and marketing agency. During his time at Octagon, Zola provided consulting services to brands and their agencies regarding their public relations and marketing strategies. In addition to his work at the Foundation, Zola is pursuing a Master’s degree in Sports Industry Management at Georgetown University.

Zola received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Foreign Affairs from the University of Virginia in 2008. While at UVA, he was a three-year starter for the men’s varsity soccer team.
